Teaching Philosophy

I teach heart-first with an emphasis on self-awareness. In my classes, I aim to bring my students back to center through mindful movement and empowering choices. I enjoy using props, teaching students about proper alignment, and cuing yogis to return to the breath throughout class. In my teachings, I encourage my students to express themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually. I also blend my writing with yogic philosophy to expand the practice off the mat. To me, yoga is so much more than a series of asanas. Yoga is an exploration into the self, and there are so many benefits outside of physical wellness.
